#fic marathon

Do you ever have your own little fic marathon day, where you focus on one writer whose work you just really love and stay in that warm, cozy bubble of style all day? I’ve got a few fave authors I love to revisit when I’m feeling kind of crummy, emotionally, physically, or otherwise. Yesterday was one of those days for me, and the writer was @iworshipyou-oliver. I’m terrible at commenting on AO3, so I try to reach out and let people know, in my own way, when I’ve really enjoyed their work. Your fics were a lovely pick me up yesterday - thank you for sharing them!

The angsty-er the fic the better

honestly I’m so deep in iwaoi hell right now i need recs for the angstiest fics ever. everyone is so mean to iwa-chan and i love him so much, someone fuck oikawa up too for goodness sake. i mean he’s always fucked up but iwa-can is always heart broken!?!?! i love it. i must be a masochist, my poor heart hurts.

So I'm just now finishing Things I Cannot Change,even though I started a couple of days ago. because it was making me really nervous because I wasn't sure how someone would be able to write a good fic with religion playing role as the main conflict without it being offensive. But once I made it past the second chapter it was no trouble at all to see that it was going to be fine and I read through it in about 7 hours today (during supposed family time). It was actually really really good (and educational) and if you like to watch Blaine suffer with internal conflict then you should go for it.

Soooo.. on to the next one!
