FINALLY, AT LONG LAST… update on Lucas’ and Stephany’s story! (Yes! I still haven’t found a name. Guys let me know if you want to be tagged when I post lore stuff!

Lucas’ diary 3

I did it again… I really couldn’t help myself. My hands had been shaking the whole morning at school. I had a lump in my throat and no matter how many times I swallowed it never went away.

I didn’t want to do this… it wasn’t my intention, but I really couldn’t calm myself down.

I bled a lot this time, I think I went deeper. It felt so good even though the pain was so intense I started to cry… so pathetic. I really deserved this, all the pain, especially after that horrible grade… I guess my mom was right after all, I’m a disappointment… I never do anything right! I hate it, I hate myself!

Even though they weren’t bleeding anymore I still put a band-aid on them because they burned a lot.

Now my razor blade is safe in the drawer of my nightstand, I don’t want to use it again… I feel even worse now. I’m so pathetic.

「 Monday, 6 September 1946 」

Today my caretaker (Mr Moore) interrupted a nice puppet show I was viewing on the television in order to hand me this little booklet; a blue leather-bound thing with a key that slips into a loop in the front to hold it closed. I wrinkled my nose when he said it was a gift from my father, expecting some sort of dreadful task to follow my acceptance of it, but he simply insists that I write in it to keep my mind sharp. My father would really be quite cross if I didn't listen... so I'll be adding it to my nightly routine in order to avoid forgetting.

I wish someone would have told me what to write though, surely my drivelings aren't of any real intellectual value. Hm... I could write a bit about my general life? Mr Moore did mention documenting the events of my days instead of just my thoughts would be a good use for this kind of thing!

I'm usually ushered out of bed and dressed at 6 in the morning before being sent to the dining area where the cook has prepared me a delicious breakfast. After I've eaten, I'm allowed some time to walk the grounds and I tend to beg the groundskeeper to accompany me so I can go down to the shore. Then, depending on the day of the week, I have private tutoring — which can be oh so boring, but learning is important so I try not to fuss too much. After the time for learning is done, it's into the evening and I'm free to play for the rest of the day basically! I usually switch between watching telly, playing with toys, and exploring — though I am thoroughly encouraged to partake in creative hobbies too (like drawing). This part of my day is only cut up by afternoon tea and supper. After supper there may be an entertainment event (like theatre) where I get to see my father before bed, but not always!

I should ask what the key on the front of this goes too... surely it's not for decoration? It looks far too real and almost familiar. Hm. Anyways, I'll leave it at that for today!

I've decided to keep a journal of my experiences and things I come across in the hotel anomalous. I had been running for about six months before I found this place. It's a strange strange place it's like something out of the backrooms or from the depths of the SCP Foundation. This is some sort of non-liminal space the corridors of the hotel move and shift as if the building itself was alive and it seems to have no end stretching on forever each corridor leading back to another one some look like a Victorian hotel others look like a Travelodge and some look like something completely different. As strange as this place is most of the people are welcome and I don't have to run anymore partially from what people think I did and partially from what really happened and also from that thing. The hotel caters to a very select clientele. There are people like myself who seem to have manifested some strange abilities and there are others. Who are entirely non-human. One of my floor mates has a massive eye where his head should be a

nd purple skin. The man who plays the piano at reception has green skin and tendacles dropping out of his octopus shaped head as well as being dressed like a Victorian gentleman. Despite all of this I feel safe here and I think I'm going to like it.

I love summer more than anything else probably. From the moment that the bell rings on the last day of school, I don’t stop moving, and doing things. I’m probably a bit full on, which is why I’m glad Emma suggested taking a lazy day just lying here in the sunshine. Ahem. 15 Obsidian, 125. I swear we're lost. The Mountainhome would not send us to this place. As soon as the caravan and I arrived, our Fish Cleaner and one of our war dogs fought off a particularly nasty honey badger. The dog ripped out quite a bit of tissue before the badger went limp. I instructed the miner to dig a tunnel into the nearby hill while I looked around. There are large spider webs. Giant ones. I asked around and one of the dwarves said that they knew that one strain of the lycanthropy virus transfigures the afflicted into... Part spider. I'm going to have a lot of trouble sleeping tonight.
