would you ever post more tiktoks about drunk baking again? I loved it

lol Hopefully not. Getting drunk again isn’t totally something I plan on doing, but if it does happen, maybe more baking will be a thing, yeah.

Ruffcup for the ship asks?

What made you ship it?

They’re so tender with each other sometimes. The hand touch in season 6 of RTTE really did it for me though. 

What are your favorite things about the ship?

Their banter and silliness, Ruff’s genuine interest in Hiccup, Hiccup’s care for her.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

Just about a character, but, Ruffnut is fun and beautiful and you can’t make me think otherwise.

#35 and Heathstrid for the intimacy prompts?

Heather hummed in pleasure as Astrid massaged her naked back. They’d both been training together, and had promised each other massages to soothe tense and sore muscles. 

Being naked around each other was nothing new. They’d been sleeping together for about two months now, and were comfortable around each other, clothes or no clothes. It had taken Heather a while to reach this level of comfort with Astrid. She loved her, had loved her for a long time, but taking off her armor and her clothing and showing Astrid who she really was had been hard. She wore armor physically and emotionally, and now she was allowing herself to be vulnerable with someone. It scared her sometimes, but not right now, not with Astrid just rubbing her thumbs into the backs of her shoulders. 

“Thank you, Astrid,” Heather breathed out. 

She could almost hear Astrid smile; she just knew her that well. “Of course.”

After a while, Astrid was running a single finger over Heather’s back, stroking in circles, then going right down her spine. Heather shivered, let out a small moan. This was different from a massage, really. This was something sensual. 

“Astrid, I haven’t even massaged you yet.” Heather sat up, the towel they’d placed over her falling around her hips. Astrid was still clothed, and she sat on the bed beside Heather, cupped her cheek with one hand. 

“You can after.” Astrid leaned forward, placed a very gentle kiss on Heather’s lips, and Heather was happy that she’d taken off her armor for Astrid.

Omg so I wound up watching the episode of Maces & Talons Pt. 1, because you mentioned how Heather fought Viggo. From what I remembered of it, I thought she put up more of a fight against him. Even using his sword. But no! She literally just charged toward him and he subdued her in an instant! Viggo is much more skilled than I thought!

Right? I mean, those huge biceps don’t come from nowhere! And we’ve been shown that Viggo’s sword is very heavy, and he can wield it with one hand. This guy is skilled.

#9, 17, and 23 for the WIP asks?

9. What are you struggling with the most in finishing your current wips?

Writing them because I want to write them, not because they feel like an obligation. I’m taking a very long break from Ball, Chain, and Dagur, because it’s just been feeling like an obligation instead of fun. I have to balance it out, because this is a hobby, not a job.

17. What do you do to motivate yourself to write?

Usually all I have to do is open my laptop. I also have a list on my phone of things I want to write, and a writing ideas tag here on tumblr. Having those ideas ready really helps.

23. What’s something that you think all writers should know?

Use the word “said.” Seriously. Yes, there are plenty of times where you can replace that word, but then there are times where it works. I’ve read stuff where the writer tries to avoid using that word entirely, and it sounds awkward and pretentious. Use said.

Considering "My dear Hiccup" was an improvised line made by Alfred Molina, do you think he perceived a relationship between Viggo and Hiccup? Or at least that Viggo had an attraction for the leader of the Dragon Riders?

I think so, yes! I definitely think Alfred Molina’s acting choices as Viggo helped cultivate the more intimate relationship between Hiccup and Viggo. I mean, he did do the whole “I’m going to lower my voice to seduce you” ploy when he was alone with him.

(Also, my kink is Alfred Molina calling Jay Baruchel pet names.)
