the term fictosexual/fictoromantic (I think that’s how it’s spelled???) is interesting to me because I know it has a lot of ties to self shippers and people who identify as being an aro/ace spectrum. But even as someone who SHOULD probably fall into the category of fictoromantic (on the arospectrum and am a selfshipper) I know for a fact that I’m definitely not fictoromantic*. I love my f/os but I could never imagine doing anything romantic with most of them aside from a small few of them (and even then the “romantic” actions I’d like to do with them I don’t think are inherently romantic)
