So we all know the story about Johnny, the devil, and the fiddle contest right? Where the devil loses cause he can play all sorts of technically incredible bits but his music is still shit, with no heart, no love, and no joy?

I went to the Texas State Championship Fiddlers Frolics at KC Hall in Hallettsville, Texas on Sunday, April 26, 2015 and shot these videos of Wes Westmoreland, Dennis Ludiker & Bubba Hopkins play traditional Texas Style Fiddle tunes in the Round Robin format to decide the 2015 Texas Fiddle Champion.
