Eastern Copperhead (Agkistrodon contortrix) Found in Hudson Valley, NY.
Northern Black Racer (Coluber c. constrictor) in situ. Despite the scientific name this snake does NOT constrict. It also smelled like cucumbers!
Larger Northern Water Snake we found, no good photos because it wouldn’t sit still but still a beautiful snake.
