Skim, or just read the ones that sound particularly interesting. I know it’s frustrating, but sometimes that’s the best way to deal with a backlog. (Or just start fresh. That can feel good as well, and people can fill you in on things you’ve missed.)
Even with the skimming, it still feels super overwhelming. I'm not good with big tasks.
Not to mention all the posting anxiety I was talking about yesterday. :p I get that even from reading the posts, especially if people have particularly strong opinions.

“Chiaki, kiddo, you need to slow down. Not everyone is as energetic as you are.”
The ten-year-old stopped in her tracks, looking over her shoulder at her older siblings. “Sorry.”
Akemi rolled her eyes, brushing light pink hair out of her eyes and pushing her glasses further up the bridge of her nose. “What’re you so excited about anyways? We’re just going to the playground.”
“She’s ten. Everything’s cause for excitement at that age.”
“I was never that excited when I was ten.”
Hiro narrowed his eyes at her. “You’re weird, though. The only things that excite you are your plots and schemes.”
“Don’t forget about all the conflicts caused by my inability to hold my tongue.” Her voice was cheery as she took Chiaki’s hand and skipped along with her.
“Really, you two.” The eldest of the three started after them, calling every now and then for them to slow down. It didn’t work, but it did seem to pass the time during their walk from their house to the playground.
