Danny has a part of Psychopath in him i mean is a Fenton. And we all know how the Fenton's love the idea to fight and hunt ghost (even if they suck in it) Loving to fight and blood lust must be part of the DNA i mean would you in free will fight the Ghosts all the time not the Bullshit that Danny has to "Protect" "Save" the people in Amity Park. I mean why do it, if we are real. I am sure he found slowly joy in battling the Ghost all the time, maybe they get annoying if they are to many or similiar. But otherwise he does jokes while fighting and you can see joy in his eyes in most scenes after he had more control over his powers
