Is it bad that The Good Lars made me really want to try and make an ube roll?

It looks so good. I didn’t even know Ube existed before SU. I never knew there were purple yams or anything like that. I’m thinking about going to world market and trying to find the ingredients.

The Christ the King College Chapel

My friend Jude and I weren’t able to think of something productive last Thursday after following up some of our requirements for our internship this coming school year. We weren’t even motivated to have fun and we were totally broke because of the fees we’ve spent for the papers, so we ended up visiting this place. 

This chapel is built after we graduated high school at CKC, so basically we haven’t seen this yet. The old chapel which we always use during our time was demolished because a mall nearby is built. Yes, so this is a new chapel. This wasn’t renovated nor was improved and generally, the whole place is new.

It was actually our first time revisiting CKC after several years, because by the time we took our first step in College we never had visited it again. It feels great actually coming back especially when the whole place is already improved and entirely different compared to our time.

We also went to some spots we used to go with some of our friends after classes during high school and some of them are already changed and quite unfamiliar. They reminded me of some things we did like fights, gossips, chikahan, and more. It’s kind of reminiscing especially that there’s a lot of troubles happened on that places. It’s quite sad but wonderful.

Anyway, it isn’t only the chapel that is new to CKC, there are more. But unfortunately we haven’t had the courage to have a walk around the campus because the crowd is already different. There were new unfamiliar people and even our former teachers aren’t anymore working in CKC. But still I’m grateful that I finally had visited my old school after graduating high school there.
