Filter effect

This effect is very simple and is acheived by using Acrylic Filters which were bought on Amazon for around £6. 

I went out with my camera and these acrylics and then attempted to experiment with different positions and angles. I tried lining up the filter with the buildings and attempted to make the architecture in Glasgow seem more dramatic with random filters being on top or surrounding them. 

The image above is a photo I liked more as the colour almost looks as if its engulfing the building and I like how it lined up with it too. 

All you have to do is buy these acrylics or experiment with other materials found in various art shops, and just continue to take photos until you receive some form of inspiration and find something particularly unusual.
