I don't know if you do Cloud but ik you do Sephiroth and lately I've been seeing a lot of Cloud x Sephiroth and I've been thinking of a love triangle or like both Cloud and Sephiroth are very protective over reader.. so do you think you can write sum like that? (if you have the time ofc and if you wanna ^_^)

Well, I don't normally write for Cloud nor do I do love triangles, but I'll make an exception and a few adjustments in this case. Hope you enjoy!

Note: This is NOT polyamoury in any way, simply headcannons regarding how these characters would protect the Reader individually.

Protective!Sephiroth + Protective!Cloud x Reader headcannons

♡ Sephiroth ♡

-Sephiroth is extremely possessive over you, questioning and doubting nearly anything you do.

-It's borderline toxic, but at least he has the decency to be polite about it.

-Yes, he's very nosy about your activities, but he asks his questions nicely, even if his tone and choice of words could use some work.

-Gets very jealous over anyone that dares to lay their unworthy eyes upon his precious, and yes, that does go for children and small dogs.

-Eventually he gets fed up with other people "oogling" you and either locks you up in his home or moves in with you so as to be able to monitor you better.

-He'll keep you well away from any danger, too. You're crossing a busy street? Hold his hand, tightly, and stick close to his side, he'll use his wing to shield you from traffic. Going near a hot stove? He'll be standing at attention, ready to put out the fire that he's sure will arise.

-Won't even let you set foot outside the house when it's raining because he just knows a storm is approaching, and to have you outside is folly.

-Despite all his attempts to keep you safe, Sephiroth's the one most likely to kill you since he strangles you with hugs in his sleep.

○ Cloud ○

-Cloud's just an inch away from becoming a yandere; that's how obsessed he is with protecting you.

-Very, very mean to everyone you know, including your closest friends and family.

-He does this in the hopes of shooing them away so they don't pose any more threats to you.

-Likes to situate himself between you and any person you happen to be talking to. The dork thinks this will establish dominance but really it just makes him look like an upset kitten.

-While he does work hard to keep injuries, heartbreak, and illnesses at bay, Cloud can sometimes push you away, harshly.

-It's not that he's trying to be mean; the man's lost so many people close to him in his life, he doesn't want to lose another.

-With some work, you can get him to calm down and accept that he's stuck with you for life, but if you do, he'll just double his efforts to protect you.

-It's sweet, in a way, since he's just trying to show you how much he cares, but at the same time, it's annoying as hell, especially when he won't even let you open the front door without him being there.

#CloudWeek2022 - Day 1: Favorite Cloud scene(s)

Recollection of my favorite Cloud Strife moments, basically: REAL Cloud is the BEST Cloud.

He firstly keeps apologizing after he’s back, accepting and admiting his flaws and vulnerabilities from the past, but also the resolve to make things right.

“I’m sorry everyone, I don’t know what to say“ “That’s the Cloud you all knew...The Master of my own illusionary world. (...) It’s time to stop living a lie, and to start being myself ”

The way he supports all the party members, as a group, or individually. For example, comforting Tifa for feeling lonely after everyone else left to go back home

“Don’t worry, it’ll be okay. I’ll make a big enough noise/ruckus for everyone!”

Comforting Yuffie as they share the airsickness (that he didn’t feel during his fake persona), offering options to deal with it, what not to do, and bonding that it was still very hard to deal with.

“Moving around is a good idea. It might help to do some exercises *squats* “

“There’s something you absolutely must not do, and that is ... READ !!“

“Anyway, once you’re sick, there’s nothing you can really do about it. I know it’s tough“

My other favorite Cloud Speech, the one he gives before going to confront Sephiroth understanding that, even if fighting to save the planet is nice, they all have that something or someone irreplacable for them who they are fighting for, and that they should go back to them before, and be sure that they want to come back or stay with their loved ones; either decision will be fine, because it’s a personal choice. 

“Everyone, leave this ship and find your reason for fighting (...) It’s fine if you don’t come back”

“What about you? I want you all to find that special something within yourself.“

And he is just an emotional support for the crew, establising himself as the true leader of the party for things like this, not just because cool fighting abilities.

“Leave all your worries here. Let’s go home proud.”

*screams* REAL Cloud deserves to be talked about way more!!
