leave aside Fyodor, but I gotta ask how the hell is Fukuchi still alive???? Didn't he finally pass away peacefully when he was released from the Ame-no-Gozen by Ueda Akinari?
on the other hand, imagine if it was Fukuzawa who was doing the double suicide technique of killing Fyodor?? just imagine? revenge for his best friend + kunikida forced into the shoes of the President in Part 2 of ADA + Ranpo and Yosano and others suffering his loss and working forward through grief + a throwback to this line:
Pumpkin Prompt 21 - Russet

Previous part First part
“Remus!” Sirius cried out, alerting Greyback to his presence. He scrambled up through the broken window, but he was too slow; Greyback had dragged Remus out.
Sirius gave chase, blowing his whistle to alert the other officers nearby where he was going.
Greyback was fast, even towing Remus with him; he was like lightning. The fog was falling fast, compromising Sirius’s vision. “Remus!” He called out, running in the direction he thought they’d gone.
“SIRIUS!!!” Remus screamed from his right. Sirius doubled back and took the street he’d just run past.
They were going deeper into the slums of London. Tightly packed buildings surrounded him on all sides, alleyways like rat runs between them all. He stood in the middle of a crossroads, turning on the spot, looking blindly for any sign of Remus or Greyback.
He spotted it after a minute, one of Remus’s shoes to the left, down a grimy alleyway. Sirius took off down it.
The alley narrowed, the brickwork brushing against him on both sides, slowing his pursuit, but if Greyback had gone that way, he would be slowed down even more.
The alley opened up. Windows looked down into it from both sides. Sirius was about to continue on when a cough above made him look up.
A man with the most vibrant russet coloured hair he’d ever seen leaned serenely against the open window. His face was covered in makeup, his eyelashes fluttering sweetly as his chin rested on his hand. His gaze flicked down to Sirius for a second. His hand dropped, one finger pointing down, his stare burned into Sirius before he turned away from the window, his pink lace dressing gown fluttering up to show off his nakedness.
Sirius took a chance and pushed on the battered door. It opened smoothly, not even squeaking, which Sirius fully expected. A group of scantily clad men and women gasped as he came in. Sirius was certain he’d just stumbled into a brothel.
“Did two men just come through here?” He held up the sketch Remus had drawn of Greyback. They nodded simultaneously and pointed towards the next door. Sirius held up a finger to his lips and crept through the door.
The russet-haired man was waiting for him in the hallway, and for a split second, Sirius worried that he’d tricked him into coming in for other reasons. The man simply crooked his finger and led him to a hidden door in one of the back rooms. The man suddenly produced a gun. Sirius had no idea where from as he had nothing on under the lace dressing gown.
“You’re going to need this,” he said in a sultry voice before walking away, moving his hips seductively as he did. Sirius took a deep breath and began to walk down the steps.
He found Greyback pushing an unconscious Remus’s legs apart. His clothes had been torn from his body, and clearly, Greyback had thought he was safe for a while and decided to pass the time at Remus’s expense.
“Get your hands off him,” Sirius growled, raising the gun to point at Greyback’s head. The man looked up, shocked at Sirius’s presence. He quickly got his composure back and grinned a sickening smile at him.
“Has my little boy been talking about me? Has he been telling you I’m the big bad Moon man that's been haunting the streets of London? I hate to break it to you, but little Remus here is the one who’s been doing the killing.” His voice was like crushed glass over gravel. Sirius knew he was lying. “It’s what he does, little Remus. He befriends one of those poor ladies of the night, and once he has their confidence, he leads them off and rips their throats out like an animal.” Greyback continued. “I’ve been trying to stop him, and he promises me he won't do it again, but as soon as we escape one city, he starts again. I can see he’s been playing his tricks on you. What did he say? I stole him from his home and used him as my plaything?” Sirius swallowed, refusing to answer. He knew that if he hadn’t spent time with Remus, met his family, then he might have fallen for Greyback's tricks.
Greyback took a step towards him, fastening his trousers as he did. “He’s a troubled boy, but I’ve tried my best to look out for him.” Another step. “Perhaps there's nothing left in him to save, perhaps he needs the hangman's noose,” Greyback was almost on him.
“Stop, or I’ll shoot,” Sirius said, his voice thankfully even and commanding, not showing a drop of the fear that was coursing through him. Greyback paused, his smile broadening.
“Now, now, no need for that,” he purred, and his hand shot out, snatching the gun from Sirius’s hand. “Oh, dear,” he sighed. “When Remus was trying to escape, he shot the nice officer, only trying to bring him to justice. What a pity,” Greyback lifted the gun, his finger curling around the trigger. Sirius stared down the barrel of the gun, wishing he’d had more time with Remus.
A panel on the other side of the room slid to the side, and the same russet-haired man walked out, silent as a ghost. Calmly lifted a rather solid-looking silver candlestick holder and hit Greyback on the back of the head. The thickset man crumpled to the floor, still.
“That’s for Marlene,” the man hissed at Greyback and spat on him before gliding out of the room and replacing the panel. “Get that scum out of my establishment,” he said coldly before disappearing. Sirius secured Greyback with the manacles he carried and went to check on Remus.
Remus woke slowly, his words groggy as he lifted his hand and cupped Sirius’s face. “You found me,” he said quietly. Sirius hugged him close, tears slipping from his eyes.
