I actually caught myself Unrivaled Greninja today (they're doing a rerun of all mightiest mark starters in SV) which I've been holding off on until today just so the met date could be my birthday. I also spent several hours running around the Coastal Biome catching Destiny Mark Froakies, so my birthday was delightfully froggy. Thank you for blessing me with another one!
what's Villainous about? all I know is that it's from (I think) Cartoon network
It's a perpetually in-progress cartoon about a villainous organisation run by an eldritch horror called Black Hat, also featuring a tired mad scientist Dr Flug, a deranged scene lizard girl Demencia, and an uncharacteristically angelic science experiment/bear 505. It's the kind of fun edgy horror comedy vibe you might remember from the Grimm Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Invader Zim or Evil Con Carne (and, to a degree, Hazbin Hotel without the sex and swearing). Tumblr was really into it around 2017-2019 before it kinda faded out of popularity. Recently we got news that there'll be more episodes so there's hype and thirst traps because everyone is horny for the hot evil monster man in a suit and top hat - the Internet is healing.
It's fun, I'm excited to see what they're gonna do with it. I've always liked the character designs.

11) what kind of music is stuck in your head a lot lately?
Right now it's a mix of "Cabinet Man" by Lemon Demon and some power metal, with a stronger emphasis on the former - for some reason the bridge just lodged itself in my brain and won't go away. Also, something about the "bababababa bababababa" from the ending is strangely satisfying. As for the metal, Blind Guardian.
Oh and also, something which wormed its wya into my mind while mom and i were out shopping, and which I actually haven't listened to in a while: "Buried Alive" by Creature Feature, specifically the refrain.
"I can't explain just how it feels, the thought of my premature burial. Inside this oblong box I lay with the hopes I'll be buried alive."

I feel like if anyone should get the 'keystone in the glasses' thing it should be Clemont, he deserves the full mad inventor/scientist look I think

Jokes aside tho, I think that he should have a one-time teamup with Mega Zeraora because a) it's as close to Mega Luxray as we're ever gonna get, and b) his little sister is besties with ZYGARDE (who btw can also mega evolve. I wonder how she would accessorise her key stone bc let's be real, she deserves to be its mega bestie) so let him have SOMETHING.

A shuriken-shaped silver pin affixed to my scarf. I gotta draw it sometime but the vibe is that it's concealed under the folds but gleams when I drag one layer up over my mouth froggy-style. It's part of my mega evo activation animation.
(I also do that when the Battle Bond activates so it's a visual indicator that both of these phenomenons go both ways a little, because it's more fun that way and because what's the point of character customisation if you can't be matchy matchy with the bestie and also let the psychic-soul bond thingy fuck you up a little ::D)
seeing your post about how Z-A should have Ash back, I've been watching through Journeys for the first time and it is fun, but I just wanna know what's up with the Ash-Greninja retcon in the flashbacks cus that threw me off a little
No but I'm still so confused and mildly peeved about it. Is it because they thought the form change was too much and retconned it in the same way the battle bond Gren from the Sun/Moon demo loses the form change in SV? Sure it's "mega evolution but a little to the left" and "hashtag special treatment" but I liked it. I thought it was interesting.
I guess someone higher up the ladder thought that it was too much and maybe messed with the status quo/drew attention away from mega evolution, so they just started whistling and quietly kicked it under the carpet, but I haven't forgotten.
Did the audience not like it? Did the marketing team not like it? Who changed their mind? Who decided to scrap it? Who decided to take that form away? Come on out coward I just want to talk.
Less then 10 days for Legends Z-A :] !! Still looking forwards to the game
I hhhhhhhave it preordered I have NSO already (though I still have no idea how comp battling works) and i have my three Greninjas from the 3DS (fwoggy from X, shiny Protean fwoggy from Y, and BBonded fwoggy from the Sun/Moon demo, all fully trained, level 100 and ribboned to hell and back because I took them through XY, ORAS and SMUSUM) ANYTHING AND ANYONE STANDING BETWEEN ME AND THE KALOS STARTER MEGASTONES IS GOING TO BE TRAMPLED AND SET ON FIRE. I'm maybe halfway through base Violet and several more hours of fucking around should get me a decently leveled comp nature (can't speak for IVs) Ceruledge, Lucario, Garchomp and Salamence, and maybe a few others depending on my luck with Tera raids.
And yeah, I am so excited that I'm practically crawling up walls and chewing on furniture. My boys are going to have another sibling! And I'll get to see them all mega evolve! And I'll get to wear cool outfits and run around Lumiose again and GAMEFREAK GIVE ME MY FROG ALREADY.
I'm a Team Toto girlie since day 1 and, unless the regional evos/megas for the other two turn out SUPER GOOD, it's gonna stay that way. What starter are you thinking about?
