Stephen Jackson Really Wants To Invalidate Giannis’ Championship
Most of the prominent daytime sports television guys have copped a plea by now when it comes to Giannis Antetokounmpo and how wrong they were about the guy as a player in general.
However, a few days ago, Nick Wright pointed out that a lot of the disrespect and undervaluing of Giannis was something that was generally felt by his fellow players.
In a lot of ways, Stephen Jackson, former NBA journeyman and jump shooter, kind of stood in as a conduit and voice for those players, During the NBA finals, Jackson also tried to assert that Khris Middleton should be finals MVP and that Middleton was actually the Bucks best player, based on his ability to make the game winning shots.
Stephen Jackson was on yesterday’s edition of First Things First and tried to assert that Giannis was invalidating his teammates by saying that he didn’t have to join a super team to win an NBA title.
This is of course a garbage take and he is literally changing the definition of “super team” in order to make an argument he really doesn’t have the ammo to make.
Stephen Jackson has turned into a joke lately and the issue with it is that if current and former players want to have their voices represented in the media, then stuff like this hurts their credibility big time. Especially if they cannot acknowledge one of their own in Giannis.
Jackson would prove that he is a joke when in the very next segment, a mere few minutes later he claims that the Bucks only won the title because the Brooklyn Nets were injured.
See this here is that stupid stuff. Both these things cannot be true at the same time moron.
You can’t claim the Bucks had an advantage through individual talent, yet claim that the real super team, will beat the Bucks when healthy. The Nets are the very definition of a “super team” moron.
It’s a real lack of intelligent analysis because it’s not analysis, it’s a guy who really is speaking up for his friends/contacts in the sport and letting it be known that Giannis has not played the social game.
By not indulging in super team talk, Giannis has alienated many NBA player on a social level and by winning a championship he has undermined the idea that joining a super team is necessary to win a championship.
Players have been put on notice and Stephen Jackson is literally the only person on earth, to stop smoking weed and get dumber as a result.
Dear @OracleArena,
You’ve seen the highs, you’ve seen the lows. Thank you for these great memories!! Lol!

A TWO-WAY FORCE WITH A LETHAL ARSENAL!! 🔥 An impact player at both ends, Kawhi Leonard has two NBA championships, one each with the San Antonio Spurs and Toronto Raptors, and won Finals MVP both times. He is perhaps the best two-way player of his generation and one of the best such players in NBA history! At age 22, Leonard became the 2nd-youngest winner of the #FinalsMVP award (bested only by a 20-year-old Magic Johnson in the '80 Finals). He accomplished the feat in 2014, when the Spurs dethroned the Heat. 🏆 Leonard then led the Raptors to their first NBA title in his only season with the team. He was named 2019 Finals MVP after averaging 28.5 ppg, 9.8 rpg, 4.2 apg and 2.0 spg while playing 40.5 mpg. 👀 • • • • • • 🔥🏀 ⬇️⬇️ 👉🏾FOLLOW @BenchOnaQUEST 👈🏻 ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ #BenchOnaQUEST 🏀 #LAClippers 🔵🔴 #ClipperNation ⚓ #LAourWay #CLIPSET #ClipCityChipCity #HustleOverHype 🏀 #ClippersBasketball #BuffaloBraves #KawhiLeonard 📈 #SanDiegoClippers #NBA75 #BackInBlue #NBAhistory #LosAngelesClippers #SquadOverSelf #BallisLIFE 🏀 #TheKlaw (at Los Angeles, California) https://www.instagram.com/p/CWzbGtdMsdD/?utm_medium=tumblr
