I want to open the door for a conversation.

Personally, I don't believe in justifying why I post something on MY blog. But this topic has the potential to get blown out of proportion and I want to make sure that I am clear about where I stand. I am elated about Ja'Marr and Tee's extension. I would be an absolute mess if they weren't re-signed. To me, they are part of the bengals family forever. Two of my all time favorite players in the NFL, as well as two of my all time favorite dudes in general.

With that being said, I saw a video today that got me thinking (s/o to Mama Tee for reposting it on Twitter with the caption: "Shut up dick, opps I mean nick") Undeniably hilarious, Mama Tee. And I'm not a Nick Wright fan at all. But when I took my emotions out of it and truly listened to what he was saying, I didn't find myself disagreeing with most of what he said. I do think that Joe is a great quarterback and I do think that he could complete passes to anybody. And I do think that our defense and OL are in trouble.

As a girlie who is truly attempting to understand more about football and what goes on behind the scenes, I'd love to know how we can build a team that makes it to a super bowl. As I mentioned, I'm still learning a lot of things myself. I don't shy away from other peoples opinions because I truly think they help me see different perspectives and help me grow. SO, I'm asking in the most non-toxic way as possible - can we talk about this?
