zenitsu wants to deny her words, the self guilt rising up in his throat. his past has had it’s fair share of grief and heartache, and he thought it impossible to ever separate himself from that. but her words strike a chord within him, and despite her not being the first person to tell him such a thing, he reasons that it has to be at least somewhat true. ❝ maybe so. ah, thank you kanae-san, i’ll be sure to keep that in mind ! ❞
