A review of Finecolour Sketch alcohol based markers by Becca Hillburn. Includes a video overview, comparison with Copic Ciao markers, and a field test.

Checking in with another alcohol marker review!  I’m revisiting Ali Express to see if anything’s changed in the past couple years, and this time I’m reviewing Finecolour’s Sketch markers.  These are very similar to Copic’s Ciao markers, but you’ll have to click through and read the post to find out what I thought!

A lot of people have emailed me about Finecolour markers, so here’s a brief overview of three of the alcohol markers available on AliExpress- original Finecolour markers, Finecolour Sketch markers, and Shang Hai Touch markers.  If you’re interested in cheap alcohol markers, and wonder if these knockoffs are right for your needs, this video is designed to help you find out! I am currently working on the posts for the Finecolour Sketch markers and the Shang Hai markers, but I already have a post from awhile back on the original Finecolour markers, if you’d like to know more.

Slightly bummed out >< My Finecoulr Markers are ‘Reverse-side Yellow Stain Effect’. I think that’s due to the base of the ink. However it’s not in all of them though. Just the Black, red, the darker yellows, and the muted blues. The rest don’t seem to do this. It’s makes me a bit sad cause some o my drawing have already been damaged by it...I just hope that moving them to plastic page protectors will stop it from continuing.

is 160 a lot for 120 finecoulor markers? Or should I just skip it and stick to the copic markers?
