To say Irene was nervous about the meeting she had asked with Oswald was an understatement. She knew that it was Zsasz who should have been having this meeting yet Irene felt it was right if she did it. Heels clicked against the floor, opening the door she stepped into his office closing it behind her. Cheryl Blossom was confirmed to be a lesbian and the riverdale rpc + others have been complaining about it and erasing it to make her bi/pan and harassing lesbians who are telling them that this is very lesbophobic and hurtful. P much the same thing almost every fandom has been doing as of the last couple years when a character is confirmed gay. smh.

As someone who does identify as Pan, I understand the frustration -- of relating and wishing for the character to be like you -- but it’s important to empathize and remember that you aren’t the only person who feels that way ???  Which is exactly the reaction I had about, as I said, Shiro from Voltron.  

It stings every time a bi / pan character representation is taken away, but it’s more important to be supportive of the people who are getting the representation that they deserve out of it.  

and, also, it’s not erasure if the character was never confirmed for bi / pan :)  like ???? I get it, it’s frustrating ... everyone wants to see themselves in the characters they love, but it’s not right to put others down because of it.

Only two more weeks left of our 2022 art exhibit “Fine Feathers: at play with structure and function.” The show is on display until October 31, and the museum is open Wednesdays through Sundays 10 to 4. Stella Starling makes her operatic debut” is a collage on paper with paint, by Vivienne Strauss. “Most of my work is a product of allowing my mind to wander off, often while actually wandering. I find inspiration everywhere, in nature, in the books I read, in the movies I watch. The past few years I’ve expanded my bird collages into making fantasy fashion accompanied with bird images with women from older magazines. I became extra inspired when I created a few pieces especially for the Birds Of Vermont Museum.” - excerpt from Vivienne’s artist statement. This piece was actually sold within the first week of our show opening. Luckily, she had made three pieces for the show. At the moment, the one hanging at the museum is “Waxing Poetic” and it is really quite fabulous. Visit the museum between now and the end of October to see the piece. This photo only shows a small portion of the artwork. “Inspired by the waxy secretions produced by this flocking bird, this mobile drips with waxwing love. While their purpose is still a bit of a mystery the red wax feather tips of a Cedar Waxwing are thought to be a plumage enhancement meant to attract mates” - Excerpt from Summer Stratton artist statement.
