7 Finger Loop Braid- SUCCESS!
I have made my first successful finger loop braid.
Playing around and figured out I can make my fingerloop braids into neat spirals. Not sure what else I can do with this but I bet I can get rid of the big tassle on the yule hat and bring it back down to more medieval/fantasy and less mongolian

Now THIS has more pop - I can use this as a hat trim. The last braid just seemed too small. The colors bled together until looking close, but this yarn really shows. Made from the following pattern
Testing out some finger loop braiding out of embroidery floss - it's what I had with me. This is a 4 loop spiral. I like the color scheme on the right buuuuuut I'm not sure if this is what I want to use for trim on my hat. I may stash this back for something else instead. Pink and black was the practice attempt. I'll see what yarn is available at the store and go from there.
