Just got some more yarn in the post, oops!

So I have a lot of single skeins of 4ply fingering weight yarn. I have an obsession with fingering weight. I knit a lot of socks, but what else can I knit with one skein of fingering weight?

I know shawls, but I'm not really a shawl wearer and not many family members are either apart from the one I've just made for my grandma.

A hat maybe? But it would be rather thin I think?

Any ideas?
