hi it’s be insane about secret worlds hours and I remembered that you are a frequent experiencer of be insane about secret worlds hours so. gh. can we talk about how joyfully and knowingly reckless it is because I am NOT OKAY over “and they said come down now but we climbed so high” and “from every height I’d fall, I’d call, I’d reach out for your hand, you sing if I have to be who I was (you’re not) do I have to be who I am” and the RHYMES in the harmonies in the first verse. hhgh. top ten songs to be normal about
I'm so glad you used the word reckless because that's what keeps running through my mind when I listen to this song. That roar in the blood, that urgency to live hard and high and fast now now NOW, because who knows what tomorrow will bring? It's like they're on the run, but the thing they're running from is actually ahead of them—the unknown future and whatever changes it will present. I've always had this fanciful thought that they climbed so high just to get a better view of the horizon, maybe get a glimpse of what's waiting beyond. And of course there's the question: "In that future world, am I still with you? If I look into your eyes, will I find myself there?" Who knows! Not me, not them. They only have tonight to burn.
It does make me insane, thanks for noticing!!!
