Fiona Sit is a Hong Kong singer and actress. After having one of the most successful debuts as a newcomer, she received numerous awards throughout her career and has been placed among the top female singers in 2000s Hong Kong, such as Kelly Chen, Joey Yung, Miriam Yeung and Denise Ho. She spent a period training her Mandarin language skills in Taiwan, and found success after releasing Mandarin albums and being praised for her acting abilities.

Last Dance is a Cantonese ballad with a nostalgic melody and with lyrics of yearning love after loss. Precisely, the song’s lyrics concerns about cherishing the last few minutes of a relationship that is about to end and being reluctant to let go. Time is unforgiving. The protagonist hopes that the breakup could be delayed, and focuses on having one final dance instead of counting down the minutes. Perhaps that this one last moment can shine the brightest and last the longest after it all ends.
