C hange What was the most difficult for them to get used to.
Burns is a leader not only because of his position but also because of his personality. He can act alone, he knows what to do, and he has such an aura around him, so people have no problems with relying on him and obeying his orders. Until one day a little person appeared in his life, not even half his size, whose word became a law and when [Y/N] says that he has to rest because he is working for the second week in a row, Leonard goes to bed. She doesn't even order him, all this humility comes out of him. This is something new that he had to get a bit used to, but he was glad he didn't have to carry everything on his shoulders all the time.
I nseparable How do they deal with temporary separation.
Burns isn't this kind of a man to spend every hour sobbing for his s/o. He doesn't like it when she disappears from his sight, when he cannot protect her in case of a threat, but this is not what life is about: not to have it out of fear. [Y/N] had to leave, do something, she would probably come back then and then, she promised to take care of herself. When she returns, she will flood him with stories as always. And with this in mind, Burns begins his lonely days and focuses on work. He doesn't wake up until late at night in his office. The shoulders sore by the burden of the day, and the left eye hurts from reading all these texts lying on the desk. Then Capitan realizes that no one has reminded him it's time to sleep. He didn't get a single quick peck all day long, and if he go to bed, no one will nuzzle to him. It’s not like he can do much at this hour, he doesn’t want to wake you up with phone call, so he just promise himself to call you tomorrow and go to lonely sleep.
N eglect How to react to insufficient attention from you
Leonard has a very busy schedule so when he finds time for some attention from you, there is no way he will leave without it. In extreme cases, if no one is in sight, it can take you by force, simply throwing you over shoulder and taking you away from your "important things to do". However, these are highly extreme cases, as a rule, he's slightly more subtle.

"Are you busy?" A pair of hands rested on the tabletop, locking her in a cage between the desk and the captain's chest. The warmth emanating from him immediately made her sleepy, but she forced herself to focus.
"Yes, I need to complete a few more paperwork." [Y/N] used free hand, which had previously served as support for her head, and stroked his cheek somewhere over her shoulder without looking up or stopping writing.
A quiet murmur answered her and a gentle kiss on her cheek. One hand wandered for a moment on hers until it found the pen and put it aside, out of her reach.

It took you two weeks to drag him to the beach. If not the weather, then a sudden meeting with the Capitans or even the King. So when that beautiful summer morning came, you kicked him out of bed, shove into his hands the basket of food prepared the day before and pushed outside, giving the phone no chance to call with any urgent matter.
Nothing could stand between you and the day at the beach with the love of your life.
And Burns is glad to this day that nothing has stopped you two.
The sun shining in your eyes, your hair combed by the ocean breeze and your laugh as you wade in the clear water with one hand holding the edge of your favorite summer dress and the other waving toward him to join you.
From that day on, going out to the beach became an awaited tradition.
V erbality How often do they say "I love you".
Leonard is not an eminently verbal person and weighs his words carefully. That is why he cannot use the unique "I love you" so often. But every time he uses it, HE MEAN IT. You can be deaf and you will understand the message and its power. On a daily basis, he shows his love in small gestures such as opening a door or making sure you have something for lunch.
W eak point What is their weak point.
His daughter.
I would say that taking his beloved child hostage would force him to do anything, but sweet Sol, if some fool even tried to raise his hand on Daddy's girl, the whole empire would find out where the name LEOnard came from.
If he could, he would hold you two in his arms and never let go, so no harm could happen to the most important people in his life.
The worst thing is when devotion to a daughter conflicts with devotion to the common good. Then you have to step in, because there is a risk that Burns will abandon his beliefs just not to postpone the promised afternoon tea with his daughter.
