I've been enjoying stuff with my OCs but I know it's smth most ppl reading my shit don't really have a huge interest in compared to reader inserts. And then I'm like. In this loop of "I just want some feedback" and "the only thing I feel motivated to write for never gets any feedback", and I wound up being less motivated than before

And I know it sounds petty and entitled to be like "Please reblog/comment on my work if you like it since likes do nothing for engagement or encouragement" but I've seen lots of other content creators on here that feel the same way. Ik people have different reasons for liking and not reblogging, but I keep wondering if my work's just not good enough to warrant smth that's so simple to share via a click of the reblog button

And every time I've tried to start writing a request, I just don't feel anything good. It's just busywork and I get stressed thinking about how I haven't posted one in so long, and then the most recent ones got barely any notes anyway so I kept wondering why I bothered in the first place

Anyway if you want to show support to your favorite artists or writers on here, please for the love of God reblog and engage with their content. Or if you don't, then don't be surprised when they wind up getting discouraged and leave.

When you comeback from hiatus?

Probably never on this blog since I got sick of the lack of interaction, didn't appreciate the way a lot of ppl requesting stuff treated me like a vending machine, and overall lost interest. I do more on my other blog that's dedicated to yandere fic and have consistently gotten more interaction and feedback than I ever did here so I just kept writing over there.

I die a little inside whenever I see you have a new post and it's a dumbass that doesn't know requests are closed.

Maybe try changing your banner from "on hiatus" to something like "not taking requests"? Because I've heard of people trying to request things during haituses as a kind of waiting list. Also maybe change the ask box message from being open to "If you have a request screw off?" Just a few suggestions.

Screw all of these people that can't read and can't even spare you a "hi" at the start of their messages, I wish you a good day.

I agree that it's annoying but it's not that big of an annoyance to me lol. Besides I can tell you from experience that no matter what I change the header to, I'll still get people making requests. I only now noticed that the asx box message still says it's open so that's partially on me lol

Like yk that image of the guy sharing his dick pic in the group chat for peer review by his other friends? That's Ichiban trying to write/send smth back. Nanba wants nothing to do with it and is like "I DO NOT need to see this" but everyone else offers some constructive criticism. Joon doesn't ever photograph himself for security reasons but he offers some tips, and Zhao and Adachi both give some good pointers as if they've both had extensive experience 🤔
