Do you know if the shadowhunters show spoils anything from the later books? I still have to read the last two in TMI and I saw in one of the episodes they said Lydia and clary were distant cousins

Hi :) I haven’t watched the show since the first few episodes so I’m not 100% sure on spoilers but I can tell you that lydia branwell is not in the books at all, she’s a character made up for the tv show although if they are following the books as far as family names clary would be related to a branwell but like it’s a few generations back and you would find that out in the infernal devices series rather than the tmi. It’s not a huge spoiler either, so the fact that you know that isn’t going to ruin anything for you :) (if anyone else knows about spoilers can you reply to this please and thank you)
