There will always be a hole in my heart where 6 more seasons of Firefly should be. Like fr that show should have had at least 3 more great seasons followed by like 2 or 3 shitty ones where they lose the plot and forget who their characters are like EVERY OTHER cult tv show! We should have never REALLY had all of our questions answered about River and the Alliance but we should have gotten a million red herrings and hints and random side plots that ALMOST get us the there! It deserved to have the Heroes/X Files/Twin Peaks treatment with a consistently deferred resolution that lasts YEARS and I don’t think I will ever truly stop mourning the loss of a world in which I could have an entire box set of Firefly DVDs and hundreds of hours of space western nonsense

Hello! So: if Firefly had not been cancelled, what dynamic between two characters would you have liked to see develop the most?

Well, if Firefly had not been canceled, I would have loved to see the dynamic between River and Book grow — as much as I like the other dynamics in the show, we only got a little of River and Book.

Book is so patient with her and she's... well, River. They have a really nice friendship :)

Actually, in addition to my last post, I think most of the Serenity crew probably have vocal stims or phrases that they pick up from each other. They already copy Kaylee's shiny! and, like, it's a small ship, I'd bet they get the same songs stuck in each other's head from whistling and such.
