Gabriel didn’t react. He just waited for the second attack but it never came. He looked at the man and his fear turned into pure and unaltered anger. He took a deep breath trying to control himself because he knew things usually go wrong when he let his feelings take control over his emotions.
"Get my powers working? I have spent two years learning how not to fried someone like an egg by myself! I just wanted to blend it! I don’t want anyone to find out about this!" He roared angrily as he did his best in order not to hurt the man right there. The lights of the room started flickering as he took a deep breath trying to control himself. If he got too angry; the energy around the building will mess up.
"So, do you go around shooting people?" He asked the stranger.
The anger that the kid fired back at him wasn't exactly unexpected, but the flickering lights were a mildly startling development. Erik let his gaze drift around the room, staring at the lights and then glancing back to the kid in front of him.
"You would have far better control if you would stop fighting against your gift. You force it to stay contained all the time and all it will do is build up until it explodes. And no, I don't usually go around shooting people."
