I've been looking for a sciles fic for ages where stiles and scott are in a band together and there's an interview where scott talks about pride and queer rights and I think sciles started as a fake pretend relationship but I remember there's a part where it talks about how scott wants to kiss stiles at a certain part of a song and he never could but he does at the end of the fic because they got together. I have tried everything I can to find it, hopefully you have some luck with it -thanks :)

I'm assuming that Kylie is pronounced K-eye-lee and that Kaylie is pronounced K-lee. If that's correct, I like Kaylie better, although I've seen it spelled Kaylee more often

That is correct. I’ve seen an equal amount of both spellings, but I also had an unnatural amount of Kaylie/Kaylee’s in my elementary school career.

Uh oh, don’t get me started… :D

First off, calling something that is unrelated to the concept of beating someone a ‘wife beater’ is a trivialization of a deplorable act. It takes power away from the seriousness of the phrase.

Second of all, the implication is that the style of the shirt is something ‘a guy who beats his wife would wear’. That isn’t necessarily problematic in and of itself (although an obnoxious stereotype since people wear them all the time now). But really, the more problematic point is in the history of it. As an undershirt, it is something only someone gross or trashy or stupid or basically of low class (and don't even get me started on the implicit racism) would wear without a button-up shirt over it (which is obviously no longer a relevant style point but this persists). Though again there is nothing terribly wrong with that latter point, putting these concepts together solidifies the idea that only someone trashy would beat his wife, which again starts to trivialize the act (after all, what did she expect, marrying that jerk?) and spreads misconceptions about domestic abuse.

I have problems with subtle perpetuations of such things because they’re the most insidious. Benevolent sexism, uses of phrases like “the jig is up” or “gypped”, seeing a laundry detergent commercial where all the ‘scientists’ demonstrating and testing the product are men and all the ‘potential customers’ touring the facility are women… those are the things that are hard to change and yet still may have powerful implications for our assumptions in day-to-day life.

1.      What is a small gesture that is/would be appreciated by a significant other ?

A hand placed, oh so gently, on the small of the back, not to guide but rather to say " I am still here... " 2.      If you could be any supernatural creature, what would you be?

Insensitive Man - I hurt far too easily and often. 3.      What are you afraid of?

Physically snakes... Yes I know they are not slimy, they are however still snakes.

Mentally - being alone. Not in a sense of being unable to be alone, I love my own company, more in the sense of no one caring. 4.      What is the worst place you could actually imagine you being in twenty years? 

Oh God, this is like the most depressing questions ever...  Being here still, meaning the mental and physical place I am right now, not having written anything important. 5.      What was your favorite childhood television series? 

Gosh I had so many- Magic Roundabout, Danger mouse... 6.      What are three of your pet peeves? 

Sloppy art making, be it theatre or visual art or dance... I hold art to a high standard.

Racism or bigotry or attacks on the poor.  Since when have we began to blame poor people for being poor?  7.      What is one thing that you regret? 

I know the pat answer to this is no regrets, it all made me who I am today.  But whose to say I wouldn't be nicer, or better or... so my one regret is not really knowing my Dad before he passed on. 8.      Favorite time of day?

I love 7-9 am, no one expects me to be up (sometimes I am not ) but I get a creative surge upon waking... most of my poems written in this time. 9.      Who is one person you’d like to have a conversation with? (dead or alive)

Well my Dad, if not I do love talking to my Mum.... famous Anais Nin, or William Shakespeare, maybe F Scott Fitzgerald... that list is huge. 10. One technological advancement that needs to happen?

Teleportation for tumblr users... I would deny it to face book people though.
