if im gonna relate to fireafy, i'd day they been thinking about each other alot since they never really talked. firey would be dying to talk to leafy, and when leafy tried to talk to him she would basically be regretted since firey chose his rep over leafy.
after that theres,
"could this be the end.."
again, if im gonna pin this to fireafy i could think of this as them thinking this is the end of their relationship.
and right after that it goes,
"of you and me for now?"
AGAIN to pin this to fireafy im gonna say that they're just keeping their hopes up that their relationship is only bad right now and could maybe improve in the future, and that right now is just maybe wroser time for them.
after that i dont really know how to connect this to fireafy and how i think it fits them (other than the last part) because it goes,

the last part i bolded cuz i think i know how to connect it to them.
i dont think it could relate to the both of them, i personally see it more as a leafy side.
when leafy tried to be-friend firey and try to make some sort of connection to him again, firey regretted it (since, he remebers her and as said in bfb he been ingoring her because no one likes her and been picking rep over her)
her being called a stranger basically destoryed her since they were best friends before anything, giving that he saved her life before almost dying and giving a whole speech on how he really just wanted their friendship in the end makes her almost confused on how to feel.
too hard for her to be the strong one and befriend him again because the one time she tried, she failed.
