There was a concert today, January 30th, at the First Avenue nightclub in Minneapolis. Local music legend Ike Reilly was joined by Tom Morello (formerly of Rage Against the Machine) and Bruce Springsteen for the Defend Minnesota benefit concert, including a performance of Springsteen's latest release, "Streets of Minneapolis."

Bruce Springsteen performed “Streets of Minneapolis” at First Avenue in downtown Minneapolis this afternoon. He was the special guest on a show that included Tom Morello, part of Rise Against, Al Di Meola, Ike Reilly. The “Concert of solidarity & resistance to defend MN!” was announced on Wednesday.

Our friend Ann and her girlfriend Jen got tickets to the Tom Morello afternoon show at First Avenue yesterday and, as rumored, Bruce Springsteen showed up.
Today Jen got us tickets to see Trampled by Turtles show at Turf Club which is a benefit show for mutual aid.
