My First Bible

I was the type of kid who rummaged and snooped around my parents' belongings, and I'm glad they're not the strict and serious kind when it comes to that. They just allow me.
So while I was scanning our bookcase in our old home, I saw my mom's Bible which has my maternal aunt's inscription in it. I asked my mom if she could buy me my own Bible, to which she gladly said yes.
She took me to a local bookstore which sold Christian books. And among the choices, I chose NIV Women's Devotional Bible. I thought it was the perfect one for me. Mom bought it for me on October 2, 2010. I'm in disbelief that it has already been 11 years. 🤍
I actually forgot to upload my previous post which I just saved in my draft a couple of days ago. I only remembered when my Bible fell to the floor.
PS Please ignore the nonsense I wrote. I was just 16 years old at the time. 😂
