"It has been 10 years..." (Encanto)
Send me an ask with the first sentence of a fanfic and I’ll write the next five...
(you will see that I am handling the "next five" part very loosely lol)
"We've missed you so much, manito."
Bruno sat with his sisters, Julieta and Pepa, and the two were remarking on how long it's been since they'd seen him and been able to spend their lives with him.
Bruno was feeling very shy and emotionally low hearing all these thoughts from his twins. He felt guilty for leaving in the first place, but, hey, he felt even guiltier for hanging around back then.
"You missed out on so much," Julieta held Bruno's shoulder, "What can we do to make the time up for you, hm?"
Bruno looked at Julieta and then to Pepa on his other side, "I mean..." he let out a big breath, "Just being back is enough."
"He's being modest, Julieta," Pepa grinned and knocked into Bruno's arm with her own.
"I'm not, honest," Bruno mumbled shyly, the hints of a smile starting to bloom on his face.
That gave Julieta an idea, "Ay, how could I forget! You've missed out on all the tickle fights we've had!"
"Aw, Brunito! You used to love our tickle fights," Pepa chimed in immediately and excitedly.
Bruno's whole face darkened red with blush at the mere mention of it, "I-I-I, It's notsomethingIeverreally-- no, plehease, wait--!"
Julieta had one hand stuffed into Bruno's ruana at his side, and Pepa took the other side. They mirrored each other's motions, holding Bruno tight between the two so he couldn't wiggle free. They remembered how much of a squirmer he is.
Bruno laughed and screamed and shook his head all about when Julieta started scratching her nails against his neck, too.
"Poor Bruno," Pepa cooed, "No one in the walls to ticky-ticky-tickle you," she teased next and her fingers curled around Bruno's belly.
"All those years..." Julieta said sadder and she stopped tickling her brother to lean into him and give him a hug. Pepa smiled softly and did the same, her fingers combing through her brother's curls.
Bruno was letting out the last of his giggles and he calmed enough to smile big, feeling the love and warmth from his familia.
"Te quiero mucho, hermanas."
"We love you, too, Brunito."
"It's a blessing to have you home with us."
