OK SO BACK in the 90s IN OCTOBER 2015 i discovered the ending where mtt becomes the ruler of the underground and back when there werent 23894723478923 sans centric aus i just went “yo, what if……. i do this thing”and a few months later i created colorbars!mtt based on Colorbars by Fukase (check it out, its rlly good and catchy) and i just went “yo, what if……….. i mix these”
SO. ABOUT THE AU.
long story short, shit’s fucked
it’s set slightly before the main game’s time, and it implies a world in which mtt took over the underground“well”, you might say, “it can’t be that bad, mtt is great and funny and would be a good leader, right?”, and i would say yes if it wasn’t for the plot of this au, in which mtt gained power after a mysterious virus completely fucked up his system and his soul, made him brainwash most of the underground thanks to his tv show and overthrown asgore
but fear not, for a bunch of rebellious monsters managed to escape mettaton’s reign - some because of their strenght, some because they freakin hated the show and never watched it - and want to discover the truth about it! lead by the former lead of the royal guards undyne, nothing can stop them!however, alphys and the previous royal family is nowhere to be seen, and it’s said that if mettaton ends up getting the seventh upcoming human soul, something terrible will happen….
