Benjen Stark, First Ranger of the Night's Watch, missing beyond the wall

I'm not entirely convinced that Benjen is dead, but I'm also not sold on him being Coldhands. The lack of a body for Benjen seems to intentionally leave the option of his survival open. Coldhands being dressed as a brother of the Night's Watch does imply that he was at one point a brother. However, Leaf says the Others killed him a long time ago. Especially coming from one of the Singers, this implies that someone who died within the past 2 years wouldn't be in the running.

Brandon & Benjen Stark

I sincerely doubt I will make portraits for Rickard or his wife Lyarra, as I genuinely don't picture them any particular way. But for wild wolf Brandon I had a pretty strong idea of how I thought he'd be. Benjen didn't come out exactly as I'd wanted, but I think he looks fittingly like a Stark and I'm satisfied with that (for now at least). Note that these portraits are not meant to depict them at the same moment in time! Benjen was probably 13 when his brother and father died - his portrait is as the First Ranger.
