As I was putting my Christmas decorations away...this wonderful statement fell out of my Ideals Christmas book. I love the wording. I know with each of us...universal good will surpass bigotry and hate. We will be the example of what God inspire us to be...loving people. He didn't make us all the same for a reason, so, let's accept the differences and uplift each other in peace and love. Remember. Universal Good. Gelas yang berembun sama basahnya dengan tanah yang dihujani.

Hari ketiga bulan januari. Hari pertama aku menulis di tahun ini. Menulis tentangku, tentang kamu dan tentang kita. Kamu tentu paham makna tersiratnya, kenapa baru di tanggal tiga aku menulis?

Teruntuk kamu yang jauh di pulau sebrang. Aku kira aku bisa bernego dengan jarak dan menyiasati rindu. Sayang sekali, aku salah. Setiap keraguan itu menyeruak, kau datang untuk kembali meyakiniku. Saat ini jarak memanglah yang terbaik untuk kita.

Kau tanyakan hal apa yang paling membuatku ingat denganmu. Aku tak tau menjawab apa, sebab apa-apa yang kita lewati selalu terekam jelas di memoriku. Jika kau merasakan keraguanku, aku tak kan menyangkal. Kadangpun aku heran, dalam ragu ada yakinku, dalam yakin ada raguku. Apa memang perasaan sesulit ini dimengerti? Seiring waktu nanti, percayalah bahwa kau akan mendapatkan yang utuh. Aku tak bisa menjanjikannya sekarang. Terima kasih telah mencintaiku sebaik ini.
