I have a lot of movies that I really enjoy watching honestly! Hm... Some of my top ones are Justice League: Dark, Bumblebee (Travis Knight), aaaaand all of the ‘live action’ TMNT movies. Oh! And Wonder Woman! And Lego Batman.
Fish - What’s your least favorite movie?
I don’t really have a least favorite, though I do have movies I don’t like. I don’t like the Bayverse transformers movies, so there’s that?

11. What’s a movie you and your f/o like to watch together?
Mostly comedies or things with a guaranteed happy ending, even if it makes us cry somewhere in the middle (because we both cry kinda easy). So things like D/sney’s old animated movies like the princess, or musicals!
As I think about it, Yunobo might really enjoy Snow White? Because miners and stuff?

After-Action Patch-up: How does your F/O react when they see you got hurt? How do they tend to your injury?
Because of how new Gloria would be to super-heroing, he’d be pretty protective and doting, doing his best to teach her how to keep herself safe. But he also knows that getting hurt is inevitable, even with her ring protecting her.
So when she ends up hurt, he’s careful with patching her up. He’s upset that she was hurt, but not upset with her. Just that he wasn’t able to keep her safe. So he made sure that she was well cared for and tries to force her to take it easy. He’s got great bedside manner because he knows how nerve wracking it can be, risking serious injury when you can’t focus on yourself. So he tries to ease her mind a little by joking some. Possibly something along the lines of recounting the first few times he got hurt, and a few times recently, or something along the lines of “Now you’re an official superhero, you got your first mission related injury.”
Bodyguard Crush: How does your F/O make you feel safe?
Dick is a skilled fighter, in and out of the suit. So whether Gloria is acting as Indi or not, she knows that Dick will be there to have her back. He may not be as tall as the other members of the BatFam, but he can still be intimidating if he chooses to be, which helps when walking around Gotham. Plus he knows the city well.
Dick is also good at helping people with their emotions, which Gloria has more than her fill of, so she can relax around him and doesn’t have to hide things, which is a huge relief.

Post-Kiss Catatonia: How did you and your F/O react to your first kiss together?
Oooo! Hm... I can see this as going two different ways.
1. Super excited or relieved (after a battle maybe?) and running towards each other, with me jumping into his arms. Without even thinking, we kiss. It’s the natural course of action, and we’re too caught up into the emotions to realize what we did until someone comments on it or we have a minute to process. I immediately get flustered and shy and awkward. Dick is a good precious boy and starts apologizing until we clear up that it’s not bad, it was actually good and yes I’m totally okay with it.
OR
2. A slow and hesitant first kiss in a more quiet moment of just the two of us. Afterwards I can absolutely see at least one of us going “Woah...” or making some other similar remark. No one said we were mature. :P
not about Mama Bear and her little cub sorry but about Gloria: you mentioned several times that she loooves shiny things. so she probably collects certain things, yes? what does she like to collect? also pls consider: every time she meets with Jonathan to share a meal, he gives her a shiny thing as a thank-you gift.

Mostly she likes anything shiny, bright colors, or ‘nice’ textures. Smooth stones, fluffy blankets, jewelry (real or costume), stuff like that. She has more jewelry than she could ever wear, but likes the selection when she gets dressed up. She tries to exercise self control with ‘collecting’ things, trying to think of practicality first. She probably has a box of cool rocks she’s found, and little ‘pockets’ of jewelry around her room and bathroom, mostly costume stuff from shops she passes between work home and school.
Re: Jonathan giving her shinies as thanks, absolutely! If he’s in Arkham he doesn’t have much he can offer, but when he is out and about he’s probably good about finding practical AND pretty things for her. Like pens that write well and have a ring of rhinestones on them, cute hair clips, even just little things like that. She always appreciates it, and in thanks for that she sends him home with something home made, a few cookies, cornbread, a tupperware container of chowder, anything she thinks he’d like. Giving gifts (especially of food) is a big deal in the south and I don’t think there’s any ‘outgrowing’ it, so to speak.

You spoil me and I love it :P I’m still not super familiar with thinking from his POV so this will probably be OOC for him.
Part of how these two would interact depends on how they meet for the first time. For example, say Iris got sneaky and followed her Mom to work one night, and another goon finds her before Darla does. Iris is dragged to Oswald, giving a run down of the next heist or something. Darla is close to the front so she can pay attention, and recognizes Iris. After the admission that they’re mother and daughter, Oswald’s probably interested. Iris is more than likely really scared with all the big scary guys around, even if her mother is right there. However she’s also easily distracted and probably intrigued by his monocle.
But once they’ve met, Iris isn’t too scared by him. He’s interesting and not as big and scary as the other guys around the Iceberg Lounge. As for his view of her, he’s intrigued. Her not being scared of him is something new. He appreciates her interest in all things shiny and valuable, and she’s well behaved. He’s not really good with kids, but her...she may be an exception. Respectful, curious, and very good at wrapping people around her finger. Could be useful. (But he knows that Mama Bear would kill him before he could get away with using Iris.) With time and exposure, his thoughts probably turn from using her to genuinely enjoying her. Compliments Darla for raising her well AND for successfully hiding her for so long.
TL;DR: Starts out with Penguin hesitant to interact with her and Iris knows no fear. With time they warm up to each other, with Penguin impressed by her (and Darla) and her growing to trust him.
what were Darla's motivations and aspirations before she had iris?
I’m still working on the timeline, but before Iris, Darla probably figured she’d lead an unassuming life. Focusing solely on survival, maybe getting out of the town. She was only looking out for number one. Maybe she even had dreams of marrying rich so she didn’t have to worry about being in need or finding a job despite how ill prepared she was for the “real world.” Then some things transpired, and she had Iris to look out for.
I’m thinking maybe Darla had been planning on putting Iris up for adoption originally. But throughout the pregnancy she became more attached, and by the time Iris was finally born, Darla had changed her mind. She’d do everything she could to give this precious, innocent child everything that she never had as a child.
Still working on the timeline and stuff but this is a start?
