was rewatching succession with my mom and she was like "i can't believe how much more sexually charged tom and greg's scenes are on the second watch" (this was during the s1 dinner scene; them eating the songbirds ) and i was like "oh !" and she was like "well the first time i just saw that it was funny. now i see that this is a sort of a complicated erotic dance they're doing." and i was like "lol yeah"

don't know if this matters ultimately but her wording made me giggle PLUS just posting this so the tomgreg shippers out there know my mom agrees with you

btw found out a while ago that i have a sort of xmen fan sleeper agent within me ??

got high w friends sat on the floor for hours researching something and afterwards i went on my phone to find multiple tabs of fanfiction open, four articles on queercoded xmen characters, three screenshots of the Wolverine (vol. 3) issue #6 cover in my photos (why did i need multiple?) along with a reddit post about the implications of said issue cover.

i hadn't watched any xmen stuff or read any new comics since i was like ten, plus when i do watch superhero stuff it's generally dc. so. also like 90% of the content i looked up was wolverine x nightcrawler which was not a ship i was even familiar with previously so idk why i gravitated to it subconsciously anyways that's all silly storytime OVER

i was waking up super listless this past week and felt really bummed out and didn't know why and THEN may 3rd rolled around and i realized it was all because i had no current fixation! now dracula daily has started up again and i wake with a new sense of purpose and i giggle and kick my feet and read jonathan's journal entries with strengthened energy and whimsy
