71. fishfinger

fishsticks! i love fishsticks, though this is the first time i've had them on a sandwich.

they go well, it's a fun crunchy thing. i had it with mayo and a bit of homemade cocktail sauce. i feel like if you're a ketchup fan that would also be a great combo. nice and simple- a good snack or a good light meal.

i've started tricking my wife into sandwich-related meals. i don't mean to. i would never. she goes "what dinner?" and i go "fishsticks and broccoli" (because i am actively putting fishsticks and broccoli in the oven). she assumes, understandably, i just mean fishsticks, sans sandwich. it is not until i get to the table and pull out of a loaf of bread that she goes "is this for fucking sandwich blog"

she eats just fishsticks, and i eat a fishstick sandwich. this has happened, uh, at least six times already.

On Friday I have a gig! There will be two bands and three poets, and some poetry and music collaborations. This photo was taken at our rehearsal yesterday. In this picture I am doing a poem about a fishfinger.
