Man, I don't even ship Yamato and Sora that much, but it's nice to have it written down, in the clearest possible terms, that there was never any intention to have Taichi and Sora get together. I feel like there's a chunk of the fandom that insists that Oh No, They Were Definitely Meant To Be A Couple, But Then It Was Changed because they can't quite conceive of a story in which the most prominent dude and most prominent girl don't get together.
