Trying to edit a draft in Dreamwidth--move comments over from Livejournal, standardize format, etc. Unfortunately it keeps adding more and more characters just as HTML coding for my smartquotes or font choices that I don't even care about and now it's eating up the actual, important edits I wanted to make.

Lesson learned, I guess, but bleepit.

omfg I have finally reached the actual Battle of Manhattan. It only took 3860 words in 488 lines of pentameter. From here on out, I'm assuming, is the section that Thor told over the dinner table in Exclusive, because I once heard the first 912 lines of Beowulf recited live (Benjamin Bagby, check it out, it was spellbinding, even in Anglo-Saxon with surtitles) and it took an hour and a half, and the lines are reliably shorter, and Sam doesn't specify how long their meal was, but I'm betting it wasn't hours long.
