It’s surprising — after all, we’ve always believed that good looks grab attention and make products more desirable.
But in fitness influencing, that same attractiveness might backfire. People often see those ultra-fit, picture-perfect influencers as less relatable — their perfection feels out of reach. Meanwhile, the more “real-looking” ones seem attainable and authentic.
