Workout Log 4/25/14
Deadlift Day! Deadlift: 350x3.5, 300x5 It fucking kills me that I couldn't lock out that 4th rep at 350! I was almost there and my grip gave out before the rest of me did!!! ARRRRRRRGH!!! Pause Squats: 245x6x4 Bare bell bent rows: 135x10x4 Ab roller: 20x3 Standing calf raises: 120x20x3 The only good thing I see out of this is that A) I hit a plateau for deads and I know where I need to improve and B) next time up I will repeat my attempts at 350!
Workout Log 4/23/14
Bench day!
Bench press: 180x5x5 I made a 10 lb. weight increase from last week. The last rep almost had me but I finished all 5 sets strong!
Incline DB flyes: 40 lb. db’s x12x4 Pull-ups: 10x10
SUPERSET Curls: 25 lb. db’s x 15 x 5 Decline EZ Bar tricep ext.: 80x15x2, 80x10x3 I admit I probably bit off more than I could chew with the triceps. Now I know what I need to do next week!
Workout Log 4/21/14
Leg day! Need I say more. It's the one day you work your legs to the point where you physically can not walk right in the hours following your workout and all through the next day. Squats: 315x5x5 (I roared a little on the very last 2 reps) Stiff leg DB deads: 55lb dbs x20x3 Leg press: 345x15x3 Seated calf raise: 125x15x3 Weighted decline crunch: 35x15x3 New weight and rep PR for squats! Just to think that about this time back in January I was maxing out at 330-340x6 and now I will almost be repping that weight here shortly!

Bench: 170x5x5 Incline Flyes: 40lb DB x 15 x 2, 40x10x2 Pull-ups: 10x4 Superset Curls: 35lb bar x 15 x 5 Dips: BW x 15 x 5 Congestion is robbing me of my performance!!!! Ugh I hate spring for this reason only!!! On a "lighter" note the 170 did feel light! I may go ahead and shoot for 180 next week!
