I swear, this year 2016 is the year that I will be fit again.
I was fit back then during my High school years thanks to intense Volleyball training and dance rehearsals. Not to mention the academic workload that we have to focus on too. Everything changed when I entered college, my eating habits have become uncontrollable anymore and I fell into a routine (school-home-school-home-vice-versa) and exercise was not on the list anymore. This went on for a couple of years.
I was not paying attention to it at first, but last year I have been convinced that it’s not because I want it but because I need it. My body’s not used to the stress anymore and my immune system has been weak lately. I’ve been hospitalized a couple of times last year and I’ve been having asthma attacks too— something that I have not experienced during my former years. More importantly, I did not like what I was seeing in the mirror anymore. All these flabs and body fats of which I am at fault. My body is not healthy anymore.
And so, I’m starting a routine the first month of this year. I’m already eating healthy foods and I’m toning down my rice intake. I’m also into vegetables and white meat and I am avoiding meat and pork or if I can’t take it, I’ll just eat a little bit of it. I’m always doing home work outs already.
I know this year will be better and bolder. Hopefully, I’ll be fitter too. Let’s do this. Ayt?
