AU Summaries

A Miraculous AU where Gabriel creates his own team of evil miraculous wielders after getting his hands on a Miracle Box that contain five Miraculous that were sealed away for being too dangerous

They are Miraculous of the Spider, the Scorpion, the Toad, the Centipede, and the Pufferfish

I call it the Five Poisons AU, as these Miraculous are based on a group of animals from ancient China called the Five Poisons, with the snake being replaced by the pufferfish, as we’ve already got a Snake Miraculous

Series: Miraculous Ladybug AU Criteria: Tired of fighting against all the teams, Gabriel creates his own team of Miraculous AU title (optional): Five Poisons

So Gabriel recruits five people to fight Team Miraculous. Hawkmoth is the over all commander, and directs them.

Spider goes to Lila Rossi, her webs of lies allows her to corrupt and turn people against each other, allowing her to poison friendships and relationships. They become monster spiders. Name: Weaver - Spider shaped ring

Scorpion goes to Harry Clown, his targeted barbs poisoning the hearts of those around him, corrupting them into angry monsters with stinger tails. Name: Stinger King - stinger amulet on chain

Toad goes to Andre the ice cream man. He just kinda doesn't do much, save selling ice cream. His preconceived notions about matching soulmates turns the ice cream into poisonous corruptions, turning people against one another if they do not align to his ideals. His monsters start swelling out, growing warty, and making croaking noises. Name: Hoppy Day - bracelet

Centipede goes to Bob Roth, his multiple ties in the various industries allowing him to reach out and spread his manipulation to have his chosen people gaining fame and power. His monsters all grow multiple limbs. Name: Multitude - Golden chain

Pufferfish is XY, his swollen ego jabbing those around him with his spikes. They become self-absorbed and corrupted into ignoring all others in their own selfish pursuits, no matter the damage. His creation swell, and grow spikes all over thier bodies, a lot of inhaling. Name: Spiky Puff - Earring

The Miraculous names are their species due to Gabriel only seeing them as tools.

The Five Foretellers are strangely reminiscent of the Five Poisons in Buddhism: Ignorance (Ira, who stirred up the paranoia over the traitor in the first place without concrete proof), Attachment (Ava, if she really is the traitor opposing the Master's plan), Aversion (Invi, who cut all contact with the others for most of Back Cover, minus Ira), Pride (Gula, who acted pretty smug until Aced knocked him down a peg) and Envy (Aced, who clearly wanted to be the leader instead of Ira).

Pretty cool! It’s fascinating that Nomura took inspiration from real life things when designing these characters, same with the 7 deadly sins.
