Hi, could you please recommend some Armand ask blogs (if there are any)? I have a question for him but I can't seem to find any "ask Armand" type of blogs??
It’s a touchy subject, recommending blogs, as inevitably I’ll leave someone out and then they may feel, well, LEFT OUT :-\
I don’t follow as many RP blogs as I used to, it was too much to keep up with the various threads, some have gone inactive, new ones have started up… All attempts to make VC directories usually fail.
However, and that said, so you know I’m not playing favorites, there are some I remember by name, and so I tagged them below, but this is an incomplete list. Let’s make this an Ask Armand and Armand RPer roundup! People Off The Page, reblog/comment with any Ask Armand and Armand RPer blog I left out ;)
(in no special order, active-status not guaranteed):
[MANSION OF LE RUSSE, @fivehundredyearsyoung. Wannsee, a verdant suburb in southwest Berlin, Germany (V-controlled). Shortly before The Reshuffle (the revealing of vampire loyalists in critical sectors of government, medical and emergency services, the clergy, and the military).]
[INT - JUST AFTER DUSK]
[A young man with startlingly violet eyes walks down the street. An LED street lamp highlights the silver in his ashen blond hair and throws his finely-tailored black suit into sharp relief. He stops just out of the lamplight, head to knees in shadow with just the red of his Converse sneakers poking out on the sidewalk. He pats his pockets, then retrieves a lighter from the breast pocket of his suit jacket. The camera pans up to reveal DANIEL MOLLOY, former reporter, fledgling of Armand Le Russe, and former ward and companion of Marius the Roman.]
DANIEL: [VOICE OVER] Hey, great, you’re just in time. Make yourself comfortable. I clean up well, don’t I? Yeah, you too.
[DANIEL lights his cigarette with noticeably shaking hands, which he ignores. He draws the air slowly in before his face is briefly obscured by thick, white smoke. He waves it away lazily and slips the lighter into the pocket of his trousers, ruining the line of his suit. He leaves his hand in his pocket, thumbing the lighter, and uses the other to smoke in a leisurely fashion, as if gathering his thoughts. Other vampire extras pass, and he greets people politely with a courteous smile or nod.]
DANIEL: [VO] Here I am about to go see if my station officer can spare a few minutes for me. No one debriefed me after my scouting assignment. Again. Maybe it’s just for my own ego, but can we pretend my missions matter and aren’t wild goose chases deep behind our own lines?
[DANIEL shakes his head to himself, pinches out the cigarette, and fiddles with the filter as he rounds the corner to the main drive approaching a beautiful estate with green lawns leading to a lake shore. There is an Italianate villa at the end of the gravel driveway. Its lights are on and the place looks beautiful, well-kept, and inviting. A few discreet black banners fly featuring a red rose dripping with blood in the center. They have the appearance of a minor standard, and they cast a pall over the scene. Camera pans up from where the gates open to admit DANIEL, sweeping over the drive a little ahead of him as he begins to slow walk, to the beautiful carbon-steel doors of the entrance. DANIEL leans towards an electronic panel in the wall, which scans his iris and registers his index and middle fingerprints, then waits impatiently as the doors slide open soundlessly.]
DANIEL: [calls out without being aggressively loud] Honey, I’m home!
DANIEL: [VO] Hey, I get a kick out of it. Plus that house gave me the jeebies. I wouldn’t go inside more than I had to, to be honest, and I always told Armand I thought it was a symbolically bad decision to use it for a station outpost.
[DANIEL walks from room to room, clearly uncomfortable and wary.]
DANIEL: [VO whispers] The place is usually pretty busy with admin and stuff. I’ve never seen it this empty before. Something’s up.
[DANIEL steps into the main foyer whose doors are open to the night air of the courtyard. Looks up through the windows at the moon and shivers, rubbing the back of his head nervously and making his hair stand up, then fall in small silken waves.]
DANIEL: [shakes head, whispering to self as he looks around] God, fuckin’ hate being in this place. Where are you, Yerin? Where is everyone?

She departed from France that same night. The distance to Japan couldn’t be covered in one night so she stopped halfway in India with just enough time to book a hotel room to spend the day hours. It was still exhausting for her using the cloud gift to cover such long distance, not in a physical way of course, her immortal body knew little of fatigue, but it was mentally wearing for reasons she can’t clearly fathom, perhaps it was something about the constantly truculent wind, while the nights were becoming warmer with the arriving of the spring the winds at such altitudes were perpetually frozen, harsh on the skin and the heart. But little mattered for her such small bothersome or any major adversity when she was traveling to meet him, her Amadeo, and her heart ached in anticipation when the day sleep took her. The next night, upon sunset, she took the skies again and finally arrived to Japan close to midnight.
She looked for a green area, a park was more likely to be deserted at that time in the night and it was also more appropriate for the conversation that awaited ahead for them. Feeling an uneasiness unusual for her she messaged Armand with her location, taking the name from a touristic sign.
"I have arrived, would you come to meet me? I’m at Kitanomaru Park."
She ran a hand through her hair, absent-mindedly undoing the knots and fixing the mess that the wind could have caused. She thought about the words that they had exchanged before, about the past and the present and the gulf between both, but she couldn’t consent the thoughts he had offered to her. She believed to know the extent to which time and experiences had affected the one that had been before her sweetest company and dearest friend, but she was also certain of the love that her heart held for him. Her longing wasn’t for the past, was for him, alive and at her side, and all the darkness and all blood the world had to offer was trifling in front of the love she felt for him.
At least you remember how to use your computer. That demonstrates that you’ve a far better grasp on modern technology than someone else who I won’t name here. Consider me impressed by how fast you grasped it. To think that you might find Ancient Troy here again on the internet is convenient, is it not?
If people see that you are here they will come and speak with you. The beauty of this is that you are never truly alone. With just a few clicks you can reach anyone, anywhere in the wide world. Start conversations with perfect strangers if you wish. I set you up with all of this to return your voice to you. So make use of it as you will.
Don’t fear any consequences of coming here. No one will dare to try to hurt you again. Lestat was on to something — and they would lose more than an arm if they made a second attempt. So relax. Browse. Make friends of the old and the young. I am sure they’ll be happy to see you.
You always come to me with your words of endearing encouragement and the patience that few give you enough credit for. I appreciate you helping me figure all of this out before you left. Especially tonight. Reaching out in this matter is overwhelming. Yet, I am thankful for you helping me to do so.
You’re right. The possibilities are endless here. Information, the ability to seek and find company. All at my fingertips. I understand every reason why you did this. Thank you. I only hope that I don’t come to regret this. Lestat has enough to worry about. Protecting me isn’t allowed on the list. I would hope he would have no reason to.. What happened is over. Is it not?
I’ll relax. Or try to. It will be easier once I come to terms with what I did tonight in the manner of making my presence known versus what I should have done months ago. It will be fine. I know. Forgive me for my apprehension and consider it gone.
I stay hidden because I’m unsure what reactions my return may stir in some people I deeply care for. I’m afraid that it might cause them pain when they’ve suffered too much hurt in my name already. What good is my return if I only hurt those I want to return to most? Other than you and those you brought to help me. Is it better if I stay distant? Forget myself and disappear again? I have these thoughts nightly.
Here I am.. Contradicting all of that by using this little online connection you set up for me before your departure. I know that others will see this. That they will know. Therein lies the truth behind my fears. That loneliness can and has overridden them in my lack of company. The quiet has become unbearable to a breaking point. I know this is a mistake. I know this is a coward’s way out. Here I am. Regardless of what might happen.
