current work space with painted flute, drying- and shellac/watercolor/acrylic painting in progress. The flute belongs to my new line of ochre painted Sunflower and Lovage flutes, made (not exclusively) with materials I plant, harvest and collect myself. After painting flutes with the ochre pigments in shellac, I didn't want to throw away the shellac colors, so I just threw them on a half finished painting laying around, and I played around with the colors, wiped them off with paper towels, diluting them with Isopropanol, and in the end I started to like the new technique and mixed even more shellac paint. I mixed white Dolomite pigment into shellac and used it on the painting. Most ofvtgevpugments I don't collect myselfcare from Kremer pigments. The pigments I used on the flute are Burgundy ochre, Laucherthal brown (Ferric bean ore clay in 2 colors), Andalusian red ochre, Iron oxide Black and Iron oxide Red synthetic. On the painting I used additionally one of the fresh ground pigments from the ochre stones I collected at the ice Age moraine today. #watercolorjourney #flutejourney #playingaround #experimenting #fiveyearsoldinsandbox #shellacpainting #sunflowerflute #flutemaker #abstractpainting #artofinstagram #lovage #lovageflute #maggikrautfloete #earthpigments #ochre #ocker #kremerpigmente #ferricclay #laucherthalbrown #laucherthalgelb #burgundyochre #andalusianochre #ney #nay #rimblownflute #beamore #bohnerz #ironoxidepigments #knickrschwob #nixwaetfottgworfa #schlussfirheit https://www.instagram.com/p/B2vQKsloOSu/?igshid=z97cliu37z5m
