Our son, Bill Sahagen got the green light for the final brain surgery to CURE his epilepsy! Tomorrow they will surgically remove the electrodes used to monitor his brain activity. After that, Bill gets to go home for a few days until he returns for his final brain surgery to cure his condition. Happy New Year! Here are the birthday boys, Billy and Kyle at Pirate's Adventure Dec 23rd. The good news is that Billy has been seizure free since starting his new medication on December 19th called Vimpat. The additional medication is added to his existing meds. Billy's birthday, Christmas and New Years came and went with no seizures! Billy's surgeries are still scheduled. The date will be set this week when Billy sees his brain surgeon. Thank you to all the supporters as we are hopeful the surgeries will give Billy a chance to remain seizure free without all these medications.
