"nothing to see here, just ..." ah, fuck. eliza doesn't want to come up with an excuse, eliza's just going to kill this motherfucker anyway. Hel stopped short, abrupt and sudden. She turned to glower at her brother over her shoulder only a moment before she continues stomping on.

If he meant to stop her, it would be easy. Even as a man and not a wolf. Hel had always been smaller. Slower. The runt of their litter, childhood bullies had said. With far less kind anecdotes to follow.

But that was long ago and so far removed form the grown-up anger they both held. If he meant to stop her, he'd have to force it. Nothing and no one could stem the determined march of Hel as she followed where impulsive ire led. Not with words. Sharp as they may be.

"Ha-hah!" Hel laughed triumphantly as she touched her foot to the ground right beside his and spun on heel to evade his capture. In stark contrast to his brute speed and force, Hel was a languid form, slipping from his grasp at every turn.

Her fingers curled tight around the ribbon pinned to his shirt collar and yanked hard. Just as he turned to her, the giantess held up the ribbon and two more the same colour before taking off in a run. There, on her own shirt collar was the last ribbon. One more each. The deciding factor in this game of robber's tag.

Loud and breathless giggles filled the fire-warm home as they thundered through cosy interior, weaving in and out of open arches, up those stairs and down the others.

It was the most fun she'd had in a long, long while.

Sigyn is surprised by their words, feeling as though she has been stabbed through the heart. She can't help but feel Loki is being unreasonable and not making much sense in this moment. Yes, she knows how they can be, always a fire causing chaos and mischief, but she wouldn't take them any other way.

"What makes you think I do not love you still? I wouldn't have left behind my old life and position for nothing." The former valkyrie says, placing a hand upon Loki's cheek, gently rubbing with her thumb. It was common knowledge that if a valkyrie married or fell in love, they would lose their position. However, Sigyn was firm in her choice.

"This is the life I chose. I choose you, Loki. And no one can ever change my mind on that, not even you. I love you for all that you are and all that you will be." They made her happy. Brought a smile and laughter to her face and made her feel as though her heart could soar. She vowed to stick by their side, for better or for worse.
