Wanted to draw some fanart of a fic I really enjoyed!!! Ao3 is down right now but if I remember correctly it’s called not like I’m counting the days but I will tag it once it is back up xoxo

Rory/Sam, mostly referred as flanevans or sory or flevans, in my brutally honest opinion… it’s my favorite ship ever.

Okay okay so, it’s a Christmas episode, you give nothing to it because… Christmas episode, what sort of thing could they give us? And we have Sam, a character we already know being extremely generous and kind to a new character because he relates to him and boom, Arizona was not the same.

I’ll admit that Rory not being a developed character is one of the reasons why I like them so much, the season 3 newbies, for example, don’t have a lot going on so in the end you can throw your headcanons and wishes onto them to support your ship and it works too! Especially for Rory since we have interactions of the two talking about family and home and wishes and it’s just the cutest thing ever

They’re very cute yknow, Rory is a very sweet character who just tries doing the right thing and Sam is a cool character, he has always been polite and respectful and he didn’t change when it came to this new guy he never saw before

Also I can’t forget about the closing scene of 3x09 when Rory politely asks Sam to be his Valentine’s Day sponsor so quote “I could get a snog or two” while maintaining eye contact with him and occasionally looking at his mouth

In the end, while I love their canon friendship I can’t deny that the idea of the two of them being a couple is not like my favorite thing ever
