iris and eddie break up in the exact smae spot where he thought they were breaking up back in ep 3, when he told iris “i wanted it to be real” and iris pulls him back and kisses him

so ep 3, when iris tells her dad about her and eddie dating and she and eddie start dating in the open vs ep 15 when iris realizes her feelings for barry and tells him she loves him after eddie intimates he would like to marry her:

“things you can’t outrun” vs “out of time”

idk but i feel like there’s something there. also, the next episode is written by all women, so i hope we get something good for iris and linda!

So you should know, putting on that suit does not make everybody safe. For every person you save, there's gonna be somebody you can't. And the hardest thing you're gonna have to face is not some monster out there with powers. It's gonna be that feeling of uselessness when you can't do anything. Or the guilt that weighs on you when you make a mistake.

how felt useless when he could help catch reverse flash (the monster with powers). the guilt he felt when he made what he considers the mistake of not being able to catch him. and then his dad shows him his real mistake is letting rf control his life. and then he confeeeeeseeeeeeesssssss his looooooooooooooovvvvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeee

ep 2:

ep 3:

Joe: The only thing I'm excited about is putting criminals behind bars. Except Iron Heights isn't exactly equipped to handle meta-humans. Wells: Then I guess it's fortunate the ones you've encountered so far are no longer with us. Joe: Well, unless we're planning on executing every super criminal we stop, you geniuses are gonna have to come up with someplace else to hold them. Cisco: A meta-human prison. Sweet. Wells: Until we figure a way to remove their powers.

wells is instrumental in both bette and tony's deaths; joe kills the first metahuman; barry "overpowers" farooq to death and wells takes a sample of his blood to find out how he was able to absorb barry's powers
